weaving samples.

these are images from my samples of weaving.i used wool for the lume on all and then used either strips of fabric or wool for the weaving. i really injoyed this technique and think i may use it for my corset or and accessory to go with it.

Wednesday, 14 October 2009

for this project, we were asked to research into an era to maybe use as inspiration for a corset. after becoming quite inetrested in english literature and jane austen i decided to research into the regency era and 19th century. i hope that, not only literature but architecture, lifestyle, important fugures and more from this era will influence me in my design for my corset.
